How to have fun with your kids!
For Maximum Parenting Enjoyment, please follow these directions:
Take your child fishing, preferably someplace where the fish rarely bite. Prepare the tackle, cast the line, untangle the line, and cast again. Repeat until the child’s attention wanders (three to five minutes on average). By now he should be thoroughly absorbed in an activity that has nothing to do with fishing. Join in on this activity. Plunk rocks into the water, look for frogs, dig in the mud, lie on your bellies and stare at the minnows.
Just remember that you're not the fun expert here. Your kid is. Whatever you end up doing will be enjoyable, so long as he leads the way. Just be prepared to be surprised!
Watch future editions for ideas of things to do with your kids you may not have thought of!

Did you know travel is good for your marriage?
Women who take more vacations are more satisfied with their marriages. That may be because:
At least four out of ten travelers feel more romantic on vacation (42%), and nearly one-third admit to making love more often on vacation (31%).
It could also be due to the fact that over half of employed Americans say they come back feeling reconnected with their family after vacation (53%).
GREEN TIP: Going "Green" in your Holding Tank Products
Recently the California Department of Toxics determined that "based on available data … it appears that 37% formaldehyde (or formalin) meets the criteria as a non-biodegradable toxic chemical and should not be used, in any concentration, as an ingredient in any chemical toilet additive products."
What does that mean for you? Many RV holding tank products use formaldehyde as a primary ingredient. This chemical is toxic and wreaks havoc on septic and sewer systems wherever RVers dump their tanks. In addition, formaldehyde can leach into the water supply.
In response to the findings of the Department of Toxics, retailers are being encouraged to pull holding tank products that contain formaldehyde from their shelves. Soon you may not be able to find the product you have used in the past.
We have compiled a comprehensive list of products and their contents. The safest products are those with enzymes or bacteria ... they don't "preserve" the waste, but rather process it. And, formaldehyde isn't the only chemical you should be wary of. There are several other chemicals commonly used in holding tank products that are detrimental to the environment. Careful review of the list will show you products that are safe for the environment. Shop Green!!!
