Going GREEN - Tips for RVers

Going GreenUse reusable plates and utensils when camping
It is tempting to buy disposable plates and cups when camping or RV’ing – after all – you are on vacation! However, disposables often end up overloading park waste facilities and local landfills. If you really need to use disposables, try choosing a compostable version made from renewable sugarcane or those made from bamboo.

February "Scratch & Win an RV" Finalist Chosen

Mike & AJMike and AJ Costa (of Roseville, CA) are extremely excited to be the February Finalists for the RV drawing at the State Fair in July.  Boy, would we love a new trailer and truck! Thanks for such an incredible opportunity!  We really enjoy using Camp-California! publications - we always pick up a current issue for our use (and to pass along to grateful friends) whenever we stay in participating RV parks. They are valuable and entertaining tools we use to plan our trips and decide which parks to visit.  We picked up our scratcher at the Bakersfield RV Resort, on our way to the desert.  The park was just as wonderful as your magazine portrayed it, and we visited it again on our way back home. San Diego

San Diego County is paradise! It is blessed with an ideal climate, 70 miles of sandy beaches, a deep-sea harbor, a variety of fun-filled attractions, and a rich, distinctive Spanish-Mexican heritage. Play golf year-round at a myriad of scenic courses for both beginners and experts. Or surf, dive, sail, fish, water ski, play tennis, ride horses, roller blade, jog - the list of outdoor recreational possibilities is virtually endless. There's plenty of entertainment, too. The region boasts the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, the Wild Animal Park and is home to several professional sports teams.

This region includes Oceanside in the north down to the Mexican border approximately half way across the state to the west to include the small town of Boulevard, going north to Warner Springs.

Stay at any of our RV parks and campgrounds and you'll be near all the fun! Learn more>

Hi my name is Stacey.  My family loves to camp!!  The four of us, Gerard (husband), Madison (daughter) and Mackenzie (daughter) go camping every summer.  I'm a stay-at-home mom so we try to stretch our vacation budget by camping.  We love to try new places each year. One of our favorite places is Pinecrest Lake.

They selected Movin' West RV Park in beautiful Graeagle as their choice for their FREE Camping Weekend. Congratulations again Stacey & family!
