WIN FREE CAMPING -- Where in California is this??

Camper RickHi! “Camper Rick” here! After more than 200 contest entries in July ... the August "Where in California" contest bombed. No one responded! Not even one!! So there's no winner this month. I think folks didn't realize the contest photos were at the bottom of the email so here they are again.

Take a guess . . . where were these pictures taken? Here pictures of 2 California locations for you to guess ... and a tie breaker should there be lots of correct answers.

Send your answers to me at Winner receives a weekend camping trip provided by Camp- California Marketing (publishers of the Camp California Camper’s Guide to California). If more than one person gets all three correct, we will draw for the one winner each month. Get your answers to me by October 8, or you’ll be too late!

Picture 2: The total population of these animals at this location, at the turn of the 21st century, was estimated to be around 8000. This is a worthwhile stop between Morro Bay and Big Sur.

Tiebreaker Picture: There’s only one lodge in California that requires boarding a boat from a dock on one side and taking the boat to the lodge (you can’t get there by car). The lodge and the lake share this name.
